Introduction to Art

Mon. - Fri. - Students finish their self-portraits by Tuesday at the end of class.  Students will then work on the enlargement packet and the article on Chuck Close.

Mon. - Fri. - Students finish their color triangles and start sketches for the abstract painting.

Foundations of Art

Tue. - Fri. - Students start to create their memorial sculptures.

Mon. -  Fri. - Students continue to work on their music paintings.  Due Friday!

Advanced Pottery

Mon. - Fri. - Students finish sketches and start construction of their Negative Space Vase


Introduction to Art

Mon. - The in-class portrait assignment is due at the end of class today.
Tue. - Fri. - Students continue to work on the eyes, noses, and mouths packet and start their self-portrait assignment.


Beginning Painting

Mon. - Fri. - Students continue to paint the primary colors of their triangle project.  I will have a mixing demonstration on Tuesday so that all of you know how to properly mix the correct quantities of color.  Triangle project needs to be finished by the end of the week.


Foundations of  Art

Mon. - Wed. - Students continue to work on their sketches for the sculpture project.
Thu. - Fri. - Drawings need to be colored and stories need to be finalized by the end of the week.


Advanced Painting

Mon. - Fri. - Students make their frames, stretch their canvas, and continue sketching ideas for the "music" painting.


Graphics

Mon. - Proximity assignment is due.  Start the "business card" assignment, related to proximity.
Tue. - Continue to work on the business card.
Wed. - Alignment lesson and drawing assignment.
Thu. - Alignment assignment is due.  Start design for your "Invitation" assignment.
Fri. - Continue to work on the invitation.
