Beginning Pottery

Mon. - Introductions to class and projects 1 and 2.  You owe me 1 drawing of a bowl shape and 1 drawing of a tall cup shape with a handle.  Draw on separate sheets of paper.
Tue. - View videos, continue sketches and prep your clay.
Wed. - Sketch ideas for your Face Jugs if you are not working on the wheels.
Thu. - Fri. - Start sculpting!


Crafts

Mon. - Introductions to the class and project 1.  Answer the questions given in class and bring to class.  I will collect them.  Also, bring your sketches and materials for the "Found Object Birdhouse" project.
Tue. - Fri. - Continue project


Introduction to Art

Mon. - Introductions to the class.  Draw an object from the class.
Tue. - In-class critique and note-taking on the elements and principles of design.
Wed. - Re-draw a new object.
Thu. - Fri. - Finish drawing and start your Value scale.


Beginning Painting

Mon. - Introduction and overview of project 1.
Tue. - Finish initial drawing of project 1 and start painting.
Wed. - Secondary and Tertiary mixing demonstration.
Thu. - Fri. - Continue painting your Color Triangle.
