- Mixing demonstration and exercise using colored pencils.

Wed. - Self-Portrait Introduction
- Portrait diagram. Students will sketch along with teacher demo.
Thu. - HAVE A PICTURE OF YOURSELF!!! (your face) and start sketching.

Week 9 Oct. 26 - 30

Crafts

Mon. - Woodburning Demonstration for new project. (Welcome/Family name Sign)
- Finish Spiral Mobile if not finished.
- Sketch and research ideas for new project.
Tue. - Fri. - Work on woodburning project.


Painting

Mon. - Fri. - Finish Fall Landscape Painting
- If you get finished you may start the new project, which will be a "macro" view or close up conglomeration of fall colored leaves. Take your own picture and bring in to class.


Art 8

Mon. - Fri. - Students will be presenting their work of art/architecture to the class.
- When presentations are over, students who are not finished will have time to work.
- Those who are all caught up will start the final project, which will be Scratch Art.


Basic Art

Mon. - Fri. - Students will continue working on their Stippling Hands project, which will be due Tuesday, Nov. 3.

Mon. - Fri. - Continue working on your Popsicle Stick Spiral Mobiles. Due Friday!


Painting

Mon. - Fri. - Continue painting your Fall landscape. All students will be painting their foregrounds.


Art 8

Mon. - Fri. - Continue working on your Popsicle Stick Sculptures along with your 2-3 page research paper. Project will be due Monday, October 26 along with your research paper and presentation.


Basic Art

Mon. - Fri. - Continue working on your Stippling Hands Collage. All students will be working on their final copy which will be shaded entirely using the stippling technique.

Wed. - New project introduction! Stippling Hands Collage (for this class, draw your own hand and turn it in at the end of the period)
Thu. - Fri. - Start composing your drawing/collage of hands
