Beginning Pottery

Mon. Tue. - Finish face jugs, mugs, and bowls.  8th period owes me face jug sketches as well.
Wed. - Fri. - Start research and sketches for the Ancient Cultural Vessel project.


Introduction to Art

Mon. - Tue. - Finish shattered charcoal drawing.
Wed. - Overview of new project and new artist that we are studying.  Start group project to make a powerpoint presentation of the artist George Segal and his artworks.
Thu. - Fri. - Work on powerpoint presentation.


Mixed Media

Mon. - Fri. - Students continue to work on the native american wood carving.


Foundations of Art

Mon. - Tue. - Finish Optical art  hands project and paint your clay sculpture.
Wed. - NEW CLASS!  Introductions and review of the elements and principles of art
Thu. - Finish review of the elements and principles of art
Fri. - Review of first project.  Start sketches.


Beginning Painting

Mon. - Fri. - Continue to work on the Landscape painting.

Beginning Pottery

Mon. - Fri. - Students finish up all projects by Friday!  If finished you can start research and sketchbook assignment for the Culture Vessel project.


Introduction to Art

Mon. - Fri. - Students continue to work on the shattered charcoal drawing and finish by Friday.


Mixed Media

Mon. - Fri. - Students finish up the found object project and get started on the Native American inspired wood carving process.


Foundations of Art

Mon. - Fri. - Students will finish all projects by the end of the week.  This includes the optical art hands drawing and painting their clay sculptures.
