Mon. - Pour plaster in your clay mold.
Tue. - Pop out your plaster positive and let it dry. If you did an extra credit mold, then pour it.
Wed. - Paint your plaster positive white and drill a hole for the necklace. Start decoratively painting your plaster pendant.
Thu. - Attach the wire loop and necklace (string)
Fri. - same

Mon. - Fri. - Continue working on your Google art project. Transfer to the big paper and start coloring and shading with colored pencils.

Week 34 April. 19 - 23

Crafts

Mon. - Fri. - Finish Woodburning, seal and hang. Research Celtic designs for the plaster mold project. Trace and transfer to the clay when you are ready.


Art 8

Mon. - Review shading demonstration. New project introduction - Google Art. We will be viewing a powerpoint project with examples of students artwork. Start sketching ideas for the rest of class.
Tue. - Fri. - Continue sketching ideas for the google project and start final copy with colored pencils when you are ready.


Painting

Mon. - Fri. - Continue painting your abstract mood triptych.


Advanced Painting

Mon. - Fri. - Continue project 3.


Basic Art

Mon. - Fri. - Use your multi-view drawings to start sculpting the head of your canopic jar. Make sure you wedge your clay. Let your vase-body dry out so it can be fired in the kiln.

Week 33 April 12 - 16

Crafts

Mon.- Fri. - Continue woodburning and start to watercolor the areas that you want painted. Project is due Friday and I will show you how to seal the wood to make it look finished and prevent it from rotting.


Art 8

Mon. - Wed. - Finish your Color Wheel. I will show you how to use the water to turn the pencil into paint.
Thu. - We will be having a quiz on the Color Wheel. When finished, I will introduce how to shade.
Fri. - We will continue shading and I will introduce the new project. "Google Art."

Mon. - WELCOME NEW CLASS!! We will go over my rules/expectations/grading etc... We will also start the first project by reviewing the Color Wheel.
Tue. - Color Wheel Review. We will be continuing our design of the color wheel and may start coloring the primary colors.
Wed. - We will be having a short mixing demonstration on how to mix the secondary and tertiary colors.
Thu. - same
Fri. - We will have a short mixing demonstration on the complementary colors.
