Introduction to Art

Tue. - Finish your grid drawings and enlargement packets
Wed. - New project intro. Chuck Close videos, history and style. You will be making either a self-portrait, a portrait of someone special in your life, or a portrait of someone famous as long as its a different picture. Print a picture 5x6 in color and bring to class tomorrow.
Thu. - Fri. - Grid picture and enlarge on the matteboard.


Crafts

Tue. - Fri. - Finish Totem Poles and Weaving projects and continue working on the woodburning projects.


Foundations of Art

Mon. - break
Tue. - Writing Prompt
Wed. - Color Wheel Quiz, and new project introduction. Students will be writing an essay on a future memorial design that has meaning to them. You will be making a clay sculpture of your idea that you wrote about.
Thu. - Fri. - Clay overview, tools usage, drying stages of clay, clean-up process and storage process. You will start your sculpture when your CREATIVE IDEA is approved.
